Instrument Valve Types
Instrument Check Valves
Instrument Check Valves maintain the flow of the medium in one direction. The valves deliver unidirectional flow and positive, tight shut-off for liquids and gases. When differential pressure falls below the cracking pressure (20 psi ±30%), the valve will automatically close off.
Ball Check Valves are utilized to block reverse flow in situations where leak-tight shut-off is not required, as well as when the differential pressure drops below the cracking pressure, the valve closes.
